This song was on the radio a lot when I was a kid. At some point, long after I knew all the lyrics to the song, the family babysitter pointed out that the song was not exactly kid-friendly due to its mature subject matter and profanity and I probably shouldn’t have been listening to it. Way too late for that, though! Despite the disturbing lyrics, it sounds pretty nice and makes a compelling case for not using a screwed up background as a justification for perpetuating the screwed uppedness.
