t.A.T.u. - All About Us

For many Americans, this now-disbanded artist was the first exposure to modern Russian music. It’s time to post a song from an album other than their first one! Even though this is from their second Russian release, this song is in English. Admittedly, I find myself wishing there were a Russian version because the language sounds cool.

This song is deliciously creepy! I remember first hearing of this artist years ago at my dad's house, when MTV or VH1 was airing music videos, and their music video for "All the Things She Said" came on and I thought it was the most tragic, beautiful MV I'd seen. XP  Then I looked up their other music and really liked it despite it being pretty "dancy."
Note: I'm including the video, which is kinda racy but awesome. It’s actually one of my favorite MVs.

I know I should get my queer card revoked for posting music by this famous Russian duo that built their career on an exploitative fake lesbian act, but I'm sorry, I really like a lot of their music.  I find this song quite pretty, especially that wind instrument near the beginning--whatever it is.  As for the speaking/rapping part: I asked a Russian-speaking friend of mine to tell me what was going on there, and he said it was just random nonsense.  According to this lyrics translation, it appears to be true.  I heard this song of theirs in an AMV for the very pretty anime Wolf's Rain (which you can watch here).
