I guess it’s about time I put something bouncier up. At first this song sounds like Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” but then it’s not. In fact, this song’s urging women to NOT lose themselves—that is, to not starve themselves for the sake of beauty. It criticizes societal glorification of overly skinny bodies and encourages people to not be so self-conscious about their weight so they can enjoy life.

It’s kinda weird that this is the second time I’m posting a song with this title by a female-fronted German rock band… but oh well. I liked the entire album I listened to by this band, but this is the song from it that probably gets stuck in my head the most. The piano part completes this song!

Last time I posted music by this German artist, it was a pretty ballad, so this time I’m going with a more uptempo rock song by them. This style is more representative of their usual sound.

I heard music by this German band in a German soap opera that evidently has a music department with very good taste.  This isn't the song I heard there, but once I heard one song by them I listened to their entire first album and found myself especially liking this song 'cause it's purdy.  I thought the whole album was pretty strong though, and was impressed that the lead singer, unlike in many rock bands, can actually sing.
