The first time I listened to this song I was struck by its interesting rhyme scheme and lyrical dexterity. This song is so… evil. It’s about a girl who tempts an older man into getting involved with her out of some sick sense of neediness and seemingly has no remorse about getting him in trouble. It’s so clever how the lyrics use a children’s nursery rhyme and twist it into a meaning both sinister and adult. There’s profanity and all that.
