This song was the opening moment of the uber-popular new series Empire. I’ve already posted a song from the musical show, but this is by a different artist who was featured as a vocalist only once, as she’s not a main character. However, her voice immediately captured my attention and made for a compelling reason to keep watching. She’s such a skillful singer!
