This song was on a hip hop mixtape and was my first introduction to this artist. It’s about the process of self-discovery and the struggle for self-esteem. I’ve only heard a few tracks by this artist but I’ve already concluded that she’s a legit lyricist. There appears to be another artist by the same name, though, which is confusing.
