This young Filipina artist became famous worldwide thanks to the power of the Internet and her own crazy talent as a vocalist. I remember first coming across her years ago when she was featured on a Korean talent show, wherein the hosts, audience, and guests (the boy band Super Junior) flipped out because they weren’t expecting such a big, powerful voice to come out of such a small, cutesy-looking girl. As a result of this video, she was introduced to American audiences through such influential American personalities as Oprah and Ellen. Since then, she’s released her own albums and even been a recurring actress on the TV show Glee.
